The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination, with 12,385 candidates selected for the written examinations.
The results were released at around 3:45 pm.
Candidates can check their results on the PSC’s official website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd).
Results are also available via SMS by typing PSC50 followed by the registration number and sending it to 16222. The return message will indicate whether the candidate is qualified.
The PSC said the written test is likely to begin on April 9, while the detailed schedule will be announced later through official notices and the commission’s website.
The preliminary examination was held on January 30 at 190 centres across Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions.
A total of 290,951 candidates applied for the examination.
