Gano Samghati Andolan chief coordinator Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki, widely known as Zonayed Saki, has unofficially won the 13th National Parliamentary elections from the Brahmanbaria-6 constituency.
Banchharampur Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Tariqul Islam confirmed the information on Thursday, February 12, night.
According to results from 98 centres, Zonayed Saki secured 94,231 votes with the Mathal (conical straw-bamboo hat) symbol.
His closest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Mohsin, received 37,965 votes.
