Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman paid a farewell call on outgoing Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus of the interim government.
The courtesy meeting was held on Monday (February 16) at the Chief Adviser’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, where they exchanged greetings and briefly discussed matters related to their respective responsibilities.
During the meeting, the Chief Adviser expressed sincere gratitude to the Army Chief for the army’s support, particularly during the national parliamentary elections, throughout his tenure in office.
Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, confirmed the matter.
