Retired secretary ABM Abdus Sattar has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister on a contractual basis.
The appointment was made under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018, according to an official notification issued on Tuesday.
The notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque, confirmed that Abdus Sattar will assume the key administrative role at the Prime Minister’s Office under the terms of the contract.
