The admission process for the first-year honours courses under 2025-26 academic session of University of Chittagong (CU) will begin from February 22.
The enrollment process for the D-1 sub-unit of the university’s Faculty of Education will continue until February 26.
A notification, signed by the university's Education Faculty Dean Professor Dr Muhammad Yahya Akhtar, was issued in this regard on Wendesday, February 18.
According to the notification, applicants must submit a signed copy of the subject/department preference form, admission test admit card, original SSC and HSC (or equivalent) registration cards, mark sheets and certificates, original testimonials, a photocopy of the birth registration (if available), six attested passport-size photographs, and one attested set of all submitted documents.
Candidates must also pay Tk 500 for the Faculty Development Fee and Tk 4,000 for the Educational Support Fee, totaling Tk 4,500 in cash. Failure to submit the required documents and fees within the designated period will result in cancellation of the admission nomination.
The university administratioin said that after the primary admission phase, a second-phase list of candidates will be published on the official website, depending on remaining vacant seats and merit ranking.
