The government reassigned three senior secretaries in a new round of administrative changes, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday, February 23.
The reshuffle affects the Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, and the Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to the notification, Md Kamal Uddin, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Md Saifullah Panna, Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Rehana Parveen, Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, have been attached to the Ministry of Public Administration as attached secretaries.
Earlier, Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid was removed prior to the government taking office, while Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary M. Siraj Uddin Mia was relieved of his duties shortly afterward.
