The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen and two commissioners have stepped down.
The two commissioners are Mia Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General (Retd) Hafij Ahsan Farid.
"We three members of this Commission have submitted our resignation letters to the Cabinet Division secretary," Abdul Momen told the reporters at the ACC head office around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 3.
The outgoing ACC chief also said there is no special reason behind their resignation.
Earlier at about 2:30 pm, the anti-graft body chairman and the two commissioners were seen entering the no. 1 building of the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat and came out after around 10 minutes.
