State Minister for Land Barrister Kayser Kamal conducted a surprise inspection of a land office in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj, without prior notice and found the office locked during official working hours.
He visited the office at 8:55 am on Wednesday (March 4). During the month of Ramadan, government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions are scheduled to operate from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Upon inspection, the State Minister found that no officials or staff members had arrived, and the office remained locked just five minutes before the official opening time. The office is located in Ward No. 5 of Narayanganj City Corporation.
After waiting for about 30 minutes, an individual arrived and unlocked the office, allowing him to enter. However, officials were still absent at that time.
