GST admission test schedule published

The authorities of Islamic University in Kushtia published the admission test schedule for the undergraduate first-year admission tests for the 2025–26 academic session under the general and science and technology cluster admission system.

A press release, signed by IU academic section deputy registrar M Shahidul Islam, was issued in this regard on Sunday night.

According to the notice, the cluster university admission tests will be held on March 27 for C unit (commerce) from 11:00am to 12:00pm, April 3 for B unit (humanities) from 11:00am to 12:00pm, April 10 for A unit (science) from 11:00am to 12:00pm, and the architecture practical (drawing) exam on April 10 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

In addition, the individual admission test for the Theology and Islamic Studies Faculty under D unit will be held on April 11 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

Professor M Monjurul Haque, secretary of the coordinated admission committee of the cluster universities, also the acting registrar of the university, said that the schedule was finalised earlier and has now been formally communicated through the published notice.

“We had set the schedule in advance. Through the official notice, we have informed all concerned candidates and institutions. With collective cooperation, we aim to conduct the admission tests smoothly. As the leading institution this year, the responsibility on us is greater, and we are preparing accordingly,” he said.

A total of 273,554 students have applied to sit for the undergraduate first-year admission tests under the cluster system.
