BPC raises fuel supply allocation by 10% in div cities

The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has announced that the earlier 25% reduction in average fuel sales (octane and petrol) at divisional city-level filling stations will now be limited to 15%, effectively increasing supply by 10% as per each station’s allocation chart.

The decision was detailed in a notification signed by BPC Secretary Shahina Sultana on Wednesday (March 11).

The notification also instructed depot supers, sales officers, and dealers/agents under BPC’s marketing companies to take necessary measures to ensure fuel is supplied according to the revised allocation.

Earlier, on Tuesday, BPC set a maximum daily purchase limit of 5 liters of octane or petrol for motorcycle ride-share drivers in metropolitan areas, up from the previous limit of 2 litres per day.
