The Directorate of Primary Education has announced the schedule for the 2025 Primary Scholarship Examination, set to begin across the country on April 15.
The timetable was finalised following a decision at the National Steering Committee meeting of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education held on March 5, according to an official notice issued on Wednesday, March 25.
As per the schedule, the examination will commence simultaneously in all districts except the three hill districts, Rangamati, Khagrachhari, and Bandarban.
On the opening day, April 15 (Wednesday), the Bangla examination will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The remaining exams will follow in sequence: English on April 16 (Thursday), Primary Mathematics on April 17 (Friday), and Bangladesh and Global Studies along with Primary Science on April 18 (Saturday). Each examination will begin at 10:00 am and continue for two and a half hours.
A separate schedule has been set for the three hill districts. In Rangamati, Khagrachhari, and Bandarban, the examinations will begin on April 17 (Friday) with Primary Mathematics. This will be followed by Bangladesh and Global Studies and Primary Science on April 18 (Saturday), Bangla on April 19 (Sunday), and English on April 20 (Monday), marking the conclusion of the exams in those districts.
The notice further stated that candidates with special needs will be allowed an additional 30 minutes for each examination.
