Abu Touhid Md Siam, the northern regional organising secretary of the Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, the student wing of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has resigned from his position.
Siam announced his resignation in a Facebook post on Monday, stating that he stepped down from the organisation on March 28.
In his statement, he expressed gratitude to his colleagues and extended best wishes for the organisation and the NCP’s efforts to build a “new Bangladesh.”
Before joining Chhatra Shakti, Siam served as the member secretary of the Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM).
