A Bangladeshi national was killed after shrapnel from a drone interception fell on a farm in the Al-Rifaa area of Fujairah, UAE, according to the official WAM news agency. Authorities are reportedly responding to the incident.
With this death, six Bangladeshi nationals have now been killed in Gulf countries since the US-Israel conflict with Iran began on February 28. The government had previously reported that five Bangladeshis lost their lives in the ongoing Middle East conflict. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam confirmed these developments during a question-and-answer session in the Jatiya Sangsad on Monday (March 30).
