The results of the ‘B’ unit (humanities) admission test under the GST cluster of 20 public universities for the 2025–26 academic session have been published on Monday.
Professor Manjurul Haque, IU acting registrar and also the secretary of the GST admission test core committee, confirmed the matter in the afternoon.
According to Manjurul, a total of 93,158 candidates applied for the ‘B’ unit this year.
Of them, 76,755 students appeared in the examination, while 46,630 candidates successfully qualified for admission.
In the 2025–26 academic session, a total of 284,480 students applied for admission to the GST-affiliated public universities, he said. Among them, 166,240 applied for the ‘A’ unit (science) and 93,158 for the ‘B’ unit (humanities).
The ‘B’ unit admission test was held on April 3, while the ‘A’ unit (science) entry test and the architecture practical examination are scheduled to take place on April 10.
Mizanur Rahman from Brahmanbaria secured the top position with 81.5 out of 100 marks, taking the exam at the Noakhali Science and Technology University center.
