A fuel management mobile application has been launched in Rajshahi on Sunday, introducing a digital system aimed at streamlining petroleum distribution and improving monitoring mechanisms.
Rajshahi Deupty Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam inaugurated the system as cheif guest at the Gul Gofur Petroleum fuel station in the city around 9:00 am.
Speaking at the event, he said that a digital fuel management system has been developed to ensure efficient fuel distribution and stronger oversight.
He further stated that customers who receive fuel on the opening day will not be eligible for further fuel allocation for the next five days.
He also confirmed that there is currently no shortage of diesel in the region and that diesel cards are being issued to consumers. In addition, mobile court operations are ongoing to maintain discipline and ensure compliance within the fuel distribution system.
