Popular fast-food brand Tasty Treat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (NHTTI) under Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation to develop skilled chefs and improve customer service.
The one-year agreement was recently signed in the conference room of NHTTI in Dhaka's Mohakhali. Md Ibrahim Khalil, Chief Operating Officer of Tasty Treat, and Mohammad Moin Uddin Hayat, Principal of the National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, Md Sami-Ur-Rahman, Head of Marketing at Tasty Treat, said, “Our goal is to serve higher-quality fast food to customers through professionally trained chefs. Under this agreement, Tasty Treat will assist NHTTI in conducting training programs at its factory located across the country. Trainees who complete the program will have the opportunity to work at Tasty Treat chain outlets.”
He further added that trainees will be provided with lunch, uniforms, training materials, emergency medical support, and other necessary facilities from Tasty Treat’s bakery retail chain during the training period.
Among others, Iqbal Hossain, HR Manager of PRAN group and Mohammad Sarwar Uddin, Training Manager of NHTTI and other senior officials were present at the event.
