The fire that erupted in a building in Dhaka's Banani has been brought under control.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control around 8:15 pm on Wednesday, April 15, said Fire Service control room official Anwar Islam.
Earlier, the fire broke out in the 11-storey building in the Kachabazar area at about 6:30 pm, he said, adding that initially three units from the Baridhara Fire Station began work to bring the fire under control, and later four more units joined the efforts.
However, no casualties have been reported in the incident yet.
