Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed on Saturday vowed to purge militancy from the country at any cost.‘Militants would not be allowed to destroy the country. The militancy will be stamped out at any cost,’ he said this while addressing at fresher’s reception and orientation program at South East University in Tejgaon as the chief guest.‘The militants are in a shamble due to the continuous efforts of the law enforcers,’ he said.South East University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam presided over the function. Among others, Deputy VC Prof Dr Humayun Kabir Chowdhury and registrars and deans of different faculties spoke on the occasion, according to a news agency.
