Unemployment surges to 26.6 lakh in Bangladesh

Unemployment in Bangladesh has seen a significant increase in 2024, with the number of unemployed rising to 26.6 lakh by the end of the year. This marks an increase from 24.9 lakh in the same period of 2023, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
