More Rohingyas are approaching
As the consequences of Myanmar’s treatment of its Muslim Rohingya minority, more than 30, 0000 Rohingya refugees have already entered into Bangladesh territory. Besides, many people are heading towards Bangladesh to save their life from the army’s oppression.
Thousands of Rohingay have landed in Bangladesh yesterday. There is a large number of Rohingya also coming inside Bangladesh till Monday morning. Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya are stranded in no man’s land, and they are waiting to get in Bangladesh.
Zahangir Kabir Chowdhury, chairman of Raja Palong union, Ukhia told Jago News that the situation is out of control now. There are no empty places in here. Thousands of Rohingay are passing their time with crisis.
He said at least three lakh Rohingays have already entered Bangladesh since August 25. The amount might be increasing.
Meantime, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed Shahriar Alam on Sunday informed the current number of Rohingays through a Fcebook post.
He wrote: “More than 30, 0000 new Rohingays have come in Bangladesh so far.
“A total of 40, 0000 Rohingays have already been living in Bangladesh right now.”
The crisis is gradually escalating after the fresh influx of Rohingays as there are shortage of places and foods in those areas.
When asking a victim to share his experiences, Moyazin Hossen on Monday said: “We were starving at Tumbru Right village in Myanmar for the last three days. Then we moved from there and came here in Kutupalong after crossing the border.
“We need shelter and food right now. It was a nightmare. It must be stopped. The military are just crossing their limit. The situation is pretty bad,” he said.
Bangladesh has already taken a decision for the Rohingays. As part of their plan, the government will include them in a list.
Khalid Mohammad, a relevant official of Cox’s Bazar district office, said all the Rohingays will be coming under a list, preparing with biometric method. So, they can figure them out easily.
