Salah Uddin Jashim, senior staff reporter at Jago News, has received Transparency International Bangladesh's "Anti-Corruption Investigative Journalism Fellowship 2025".
TIB handed over crests and certificates to the winners at a ceremony in Dhaka's Dhanmondi on Thursday, April 2. Earlier, the announced prize money of Tk 1 lakh was provided to each of the winners.
Salah Uddin Jashim received the fellowship for an investigative report titled From gifts to grift: Inside the hospital reagent scam published on Jago News on December 29 last year.
Apart from him, Rashedul Hasan of Daily Sun, Imdadul Haque of Channel 24, Mohammad Omar Faruque of Star News and Delwar Hossain of Samakal also received the fellowship.
