Major reshuffle in BNP
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has brought major changes to its chairperson advisory council and national executive committee.
The information was confirmed through a press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday.
A total of thirty-nine leaders were included in the advisory council and the executive committee of the party.
BNP’s current media cell convener Zahir Uddin Swapan, Joint Secretary Generals AHM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Majibur Rahman Sarwar, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Harun Or Rashid, Aslam Chowdhury, Organising Secretaries Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu, Sakhawat Hossain Jibon, Assistant International Affairs Secretary Baby Naznin, Assistant ICT Affairs Secretary Khalid Hossain Chowdhury were made advisory council members of the party’s chairperson.
On the other hand, the party’s special secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon was promoted to the post of Vice Chairman of the executive committee.
Current Organising Secretaries Abdus Salam Azad and Syed Emran Saleh Prince were made joint secretary generals. Publicity Affairs Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee was also promoted to the post of Joint Secretary General.
