Medical admission test results published

The results of MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) for the 2021-22 academic session of the government and private medical colleges were published on Tuesday. 

A total of 79,337 students passed the test. Among them, 34,833 are boys and 44,504 are girls. 

A girl named Sumaya Muslem Mim secured the first position in the test. She obtained 92.5 numbers out of 100. 

Health Minister Zahid Maleque announced the results of the admission test at the conference room of Directorate General of Health Services.   

There are a total of 10,839 seats, including 4,350 at 37 public medical colleges and 6,489 at 72 private medical colleges, across the country.

A total of 139,742 aspirants took the admission test this year, held at 57 venues in 19 centers on April 1.

A total of 61,678 candidates participated in 16 centres in Dhaka city.
