An evil force spreads lies about textbooks: Dipu Moni

Mentioning that an evil force is spreading falsehood about mistakes in textbooks, Education Minister Dipu Moni on Thursday said it will be resisted unitedly.

She said this while speaking as chief guest at the inaugural program of the final phase of the 51st National School, Madrasah and Technical Education sports competition in Jashore.

If textbooks contain mistakes, these will be amended, Dipu Moni said, adding that corrections have already been made by responsible people where mistakes were found.

The minister also said there may be some errors in the books under the new curriculum and two committees were formed to correct these, she said.

"But an evil force is spreading falsehood with the information which does not exist in books. We will resist the evil force unitedly," she added.
