Re-evaluated SSC, equivalent exam results published
The results of re-evaluated answer scripts for this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Sunday morning. The results are available on the respective education boards’ websites. In addition, students can obtain their results via SMS on mobile phones.
According to the Inter-Education Board, 92,863 students under the Dhaka Board applied for re-evaluation. Some applied for one subject, while others applied for two or more. In total, students challenged 223,664 answer scripts. The number is even higher when other boards are included.
Under the Dhaka Board, the highest number of re-scrutiny applications was for Mathematics — 42,936 answer scripts. This was followed by 19,688 applications each for English First Paper and English Second Paper, 16,233 for Physics, and 13,558 for Bangla First and Second Papers. The lowest number of applications was for Fine Arts, with only six answer scripts challenged.
The application process for re-evaluation was conducted via SMS between July 11 and July 17.
The results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations were originally published on July 10. More than six lakh students failed under the nine general education boards, as well as the madrasa and technical boards.
