Iran retaliates with drone attack on Israel

Israel Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson Brig Gen Effie Defrin announced that Iran launched approximately 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) toward Israeli territory. 

The IDF is actively working to intercept the drones, he said.

Defrin also confirmed that Israeli strikes last night resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian military officials, including the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the Commander of Iran’s Emergency Command.

Israel remains under a declared state of emergency in response to the ongoing situation.
