One more plane crash survivor arrives

One more Bangladeshi survivors of the US-Bangla plane crash arrived here today among the 10 injured Bangladeshi passengers of the deadly aircraft accident at Kathmandu's Trivubhan International Airport on Monday last.

Injured Sheikh Rashed Rubayet was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) directly by an ambulance from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while he reached there on boarding a Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight at 3.05 pm.

One of the critically Bangladeshi passengers Emrana Kabir Hash will be sent to Singapore from Kathmandu tonight for better treatment, US-Bangla General Manager Kamrul Islam told BSS.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rezwanul Haque, another severely-burnt passenger of crashed aircraft, was also sent to Singapore for better treatment.

In last two days, four survivors, Shahreen Ahmed, Mehedi Hasan, Saiyada Kamrunnahar Shwarna and Almun Nahar Annie arrived here and were admitted to burn and plastic surgery unit of DMCH.

Three more injured Bangladeshi passengers - Eakub Ali, Md Shahin Bepari and Md Kabir Hossain - are being treated in Nepal, official sources said. At least 50 people, including 26 Bangladeshi nationals, were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames at the Nepalese capital.
