2 killed in Jamalpur road crash

Two people including a child were killed and five others injured as a head-on collision took place between a Truck and CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Sonkanada area in Jamalpur on Wednesday.

According to locals, Mosarrof Hossain, a passenger of auto-rickshaw died on the spot and six others sustained injuries while the incident took place between a Truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw. Later, injured people were taken to hospital for treatment where a seven years old girl declared dead by doctors.  

The identity of the girl couldn’t be known immediately.

Officer-in-charge of Jamalpur Sadar police station Md. Nasimul Islam confirmed the matter to Jago news.
