Six workers killed as truck plunges into ditch in Rangamati

Six workers were killed and eight others injured as a dump truck plunged into a ditch at Sajek in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati on Wednesday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shirin Akter said a dump truck carrying 14 workers fell into a ditch in Udaypur border area around 5:30 pm after its driver lost control over steering, leaving six laborers dead on the spot and eight others injured.
