Suspect confesses to involvement in Gazipur journo murder: RAB

A suspect named Shadhin, arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), has confessed to involvement in the killing of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin in Gazipur.

RAB-1 Company Commander AKM A Mamun Khan Chishti disclosed this information at a press conference held at the RAB-1 camp in Porabari, Gazipur, on Saturday (August 9) at 11:00 am.

He stated that Shadhin was arrested on Friday night from the Shivbari area of Gazipur city and has confessed to the killing of journalist Tuhin.

RAB has arrested one person, while Gazipur Metropolitan Police have detained six others in connection with Tuhin’s murder so far.
