No plans to enter politics or contest polls: Press Secretary

The Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Shafiqul Alam, has clarified that he is not taking part in the upcoming parliamentary elections and has no intention of entering politics.
In a Facebook post at 9:44pm on Thursday (November 27), Shafiqul Alam wrote, “For everyone asking: I am not contesting the parliamentary elections and have no plans to enter politics.”
In recent times, speculation had circulated in various quarters that he might contest the upcoming elections. However, putting an end to those rumours, he made it clear that he is neither contesting the parliamentary polls nor considering a move into politics.
