Govt calls for special prayers for Khaleda Zia on Friday

The interim government has called for special prayers across the country seeking the speedy recovery of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The government has urged all mosques to hold special dua after Jummah prayers on Friday, according to the Chief Adviser's Press Wing on Thursday morning. Temples, churches, pagodas, and other places of worship have also been requested to conduct prayers according to their respective religious traditions.
The government also urged the people from all walks of life to pray from their respective places for Khaleda Zia’s early recovery.
