CMP shuffles 16 OCs ahead of national polls

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has transferred the Officers-in-Charge (OCs) of 16 police stations ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary elections. 

The transfers were conducted through a lottery among officers serving in various CMP stations.

An office order, signed by CMP Commissioner Hasib Aziz, was issued in this regard on Saturday, December6.

The CMP has transferred the Officers-in-Charge of 16 police stations, including Kotwali OC Abdul Karim to Panchlaish, Baklia OC Aftab Uddin to Kotwali, Sadarghat OC Abdur Rahim to Bandar, and others, as part of a reshuffle ahead of the upcoming national elections.

Chawk Bazar OC Shafiqul Islam has been posted to the CTSB, and a new OC will soon be appointed at the EPZ police station.
