37 held for various charges in Satkhira
Police in special drives arrested 37 persons and recovered 5 bottles of phensidyl from seven upazilas in Satkhira district on Thursday.
They were picked up from different areas of the district on various charges, police said.
During the drive, Satkhira Sadar police arrested 15 persons and Kalaroa police held 10 persons.
Besides, Patkelghata police arrested one accused.
Meanwhile police also arrested three persons from Assasuni thana area and two persons from Tala thana area.
Kaliganj police held three persons, Shyamnagar police two persons, and Debhata police one person on different charges during the period.
