5 killed in Comilla road accident
At least five people including a woman were killed as a microbus carrying them fell into a roadside ditch in Comilla.
The deceased identities could not be known immediately.
The incident took place on Comilla-Noakhali highway near Silonia bridge of Laksam municipality area on Saturday at 12.15am.
Officer-in-charge of Laksham, Abdullah Al Mahfuz told that, a Dhaka bound microbus plunged into a ditch as the driver lost control over the steering and five passengers dead on the spot.
After accident, the drive managed to flee away. Police recovered the dead bodies and brought to police station, he said.
