The session, which originally convened on March 12, was adjourned on March 15 and has now reconvened to continue debate on the motion of thanks for the President's address.
Treasury bench and opposition members are participating in the discussions.
The sitting will continue daily at 3 pm, excluding government holidays, until 30 April.
A total of 50 hours has been allocated for debate on the President's address, as decided by Parliament's Business Advisory Committee at its inaugural meeting on March 14.
