Swarming Bangladeshi cities, 'Bangla Teslas' grab global attention

They’re battery-powered rickshaws—three-wheeled, open-air, hand-built machines that now dominate the urban landscape of Bangladesh. And with an estimated 4 million on the roads, up from just 200,000 in 2016, they may just be the largest informal electric vehicle fleet in the world.

ECNEC nods 12 projects worth Tk 8,149cr, with Tk 2,840cr for DU

3 more die of dengue, 409 hospitalised in 24hrs

4 expelled student leaders on 7-day remand
