Gold prices decline, bhori Tk 1.71 lakh

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has decreased the prices of gold, with reducing 22 carat gold by Tk 3,137 to Tk 1,71,811 per bhori (11.664 grams).
The prices have been reduced following a fall in the price of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Thursday, May 8.
Besides, 21-carat gold was cut by Tk 3,009 to Tk 1,63,996 a bhori, 18-carat by Tk 2,566 to Tk 1,40,575, and gold of traditional method by Tk 2,193 to Tk 1,16,267 respectively.
