Gold prices rise, bhori Tk 1.69 lakh

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has increased the prices of gold, with 22 carat gold raised by Tk 1,566 to Tk 1,69,186 per bhori (11.664 grams).
The prices have been hiked following a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Tuesday, May 13.
The new prices will come into effect from Wednesday, May 14.
