Advisory council approves FY2025–26 nat’l budget

The advisory council of the interim government has approved the revised national budget for the fiscal year 2024–25, the proposed national budget for FY2025–26, and the Finance Bill 2025–26 at a special meeting held on Monday.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus presided over the meeting, which took place at the cabinet room of the Chief Adviser’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, according to Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed and other advisers were present at the meeting.
