ITMA Services host a roadshow session ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 exhibition.

In a boost for Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry, ITMA Services has named Bangladesh Textile Today as the official visitor badge sales agent for the ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 exhibition, set to take place from October 28–31, 2025, at Singapore Expo. 

The announcement came during two successful roadshow sessions organised by ITMA Services on July 12 at Le Méridien Hotel, Dhaka, and July 13 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Chattogram.

The roadshows offered critical insights into participation, sourcing opportunities, and travel planning for the upcoming exhibition, which is expected to draw sourcing executives, mill owners, and policymakers from across the Asia-Pacific region. Daphne Poon, Communications Director of ITMA Services, delivered the keynote address in Dhaka, emphasizing the event’s significance: “I am delighted to invite you all to this program as part of the textile industry’s leading exhibition.”

The sessions attracted prominent figures from Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector, who highlighted the event’s importance for the country’s industry. Attendees in Dhaka included Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Executive President of BKMEA and Managing Director of Fatullah Apparels Ltd.; Hossain Mehmood, Chairman of the Bangladesh Terry Towel and Linen Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BTTLMEA) and Director of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA); Majumdar Arifur Rahman, Director of BGMEA and Managing Director of Magpie Composite Textile Ltd.; Al Shahriar Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) and Managing Director of Adzi Trims Ltd.; and Engr. Ehsanul Karim Kaiser, Convener of The Institution of The Chattogram session saw participation from industry leaders such as Salim Rahman, First Vice-President of BGMEA and Managing Director of KDS Group; Mahbubul Alam, Chief Operating Officer of Pahartali Textile & Hosiery Mills Ltd. (Ispahani Group); Shaikh Shahinur Rahman, Managing Director of Youngone Group (Bangladesh Operations); and Fauzul Imran Khan, Director of BKMEA and Managing Director of Benchmark Apparels Ltd.

During the Dhaka session, Daphne Poon officially announced Bangladesh Textile Today’s appointment as the Visitor Badge Sales Agent for ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025. This partnership will streamline participation for Bangladeshi stakeholders, offering comprehensive support, including visitor badge registration, visa invitation letters, discounted airfare coupons, visa application assistance, and end-to-end participation support.

Amzad Hossain Monir, Head of Business Development at Bangladesh Textile Today, delivered a welcome speech, while Enamul Hafiz Latifi, Chief Research Officer, moderated the session. The partnership underscores Bangladesh Textile Today’s role as a key facilitator for the country’s textile industry on the global stage.
