PRAN secures $5.5M export orders at Gulf Food Fair
Bangladesh’s leading food processing and marketing company PRAN has secured spot export orders worth $5.5 million at the Gulf Food Fair 2026, reflecting strong interest from international buyers.
The orders were placed by buyers from countries including the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, among others. PRAN’s biscuits, noodles, beverages, confectionery, spices, and frozen food products attracted significant attention at the exhibition.
The five-day event was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and concluded on January 30. This year’s fair featured over 8,000 exhibitors from 195 countries. PRAN showcased around 500 food products at its pavilion.

Mizanur Rahman, Executive Director (Export) of PRAN Group, said the company continues to focus on expanding its presence in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, Central and South America, and Europe, adding that the fair is a key platform for global market outreach.
Golam Rasul, Executive Director (Export–Europe and USA), said about 500 importers from Europe and other regions visited PRAN’s stall, with flavored drinks, biscuits, juices, noodles, spices, and frozen foods drawing strong interest.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, said the company aims to establish PRAN among the top 10 global food brands, noting that strong orders from the fair are expected to contribute significantly to Bangladesh’s export earnings.
