Gold prices decline, now bhori Tk 2.57 lakh
The jewellers have lowered gold prices in a day, reducing the best quality gold (22-carat) by Tk 1,925 per bhori.
Now, 22-carat gold will cost Tk 2,57,774 per bhori.
The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) decided to bring down gold prices on Sunday, February 1, citing a fall in the prices of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices will take effect from Monday, February 2, according to the BAJUS.
Earlier on Saturday, gold prices rose, with 22-carat gold going up by Tk 4,699 to 259,699 per bhori.
