Wonder Cake distributes iftar among underprivileged children
Popular cake brand ‘Wonder Cake’ has distributed iftar items among underprivileged children at Panchkhola Primary School, operated by It’s Humanity Foundation. The iftar distribution programme was held on Wednesday at the school located in Satarkul of the capital, where around 200 children received iftar items.
Along with the iftar, the children were also presented with Wonder Cake products as gifts.
ASM Borhan Uddin Chowdhury, Head of Marketing of Wonder Cake, said, “As part of our social responsibility, we always try to stand beside underprivileged and orphan children. During the holy month of Ramadan, we arranged this special iftar program to bring smiles to the faces of disadvantaged children and share love and joy with them.”
Al Naim, Assistant Manager of the Child Welfare Department of It’s Humanity Foundation, said, “We are currently operating 15 schools across the country for underprivileged and orphan children. We support their education by providing tuition expenses, school uniforms, and other necessary assistance to help build their future. We hope Wonder Cake will continue to support these children in the coming days.”
Tamim Rahul, Deputy Brand Manager of Wonder Cake, Walidur Rahman, Event Manager, and Saifuddin Mohammad Asif, Management Trainee Officer were also present at the programme.
