Girls outshine boys
Female students in the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations have outnumbered the male students in terms of pass rate this year.
According to the results published on Thursday, percentage of pass of female students is 69.72% while male is 63.92%. On an average 66.64% of examinees passed examinations under 10 education boards of the country.

The HSC and its equivalent examinations under ten education boards began on April 2 this year. Theoretical examinations ended on May 13 while practical tests were held from May 14 to May 23.
