Educational institutions closed for 7 more days due to heatwave

The government has decided to close all primary and secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutions for seven more days to April 27 due to the heatwave sweeping over the country.

Primary and Mass Education Ministry, and Secondary and Higher Education Directorate said this in separate releases on Saturday.

The educational institutions were supposed to open on Sunday after a 26-day vacation.
