KUET revokes expulsion of 37 students

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has revoked the temporary expulsion of 37 students accused of involvement in a campus clash and decided to waive their punishment.
The decision came during the university's 102nd emergency syndicate meeting held on Wednesday (April 23), confirmed KUET Registrar Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan.
He said the syndicate reviewed the investigation committee’s report submitted on April 15. Based on the findings, it was decided that the students would be referred to the Student Disciplinary Committee for any further action.
