The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has completed the preparation of recommendations for the recruitment of entry-level teachers in non-government MPO-registered educational institutions.

According to NTRCA officials, if Education Adviser Dr CR Abrar grants approval, the recommendation for the appointment of more than 41,000 teachers may be issued today (Monday, August 18) or tomorrow (Tuesday, August 19). Two NTRCA officials confirmed this to Jago News on Sunday night.

Sources at the Ministry of Education said NTRCA has sought approval to proceed with the recommendations, even as police verification is still ongoing. NTRCA Chairman Aminul Islam submitted the application to the ministry on Sunday. Acting Education Secretary Md. Mojibur Rahman has already approved it.

Ministry officials added that the recommendation file for the sixth public circular will be presented at the office of the Education Adviser on Monday (August 18). If approved, the recommendations will be issued the same day; otherwise, they may be deferred and released on Tuesday.

NTRCA Chairman Aminul Islam told Jago News that recommendations will be made for the appointment of over 41,000 candidates. He added that discussions with the Secretary have already taken place, and the recommendations will be issued very soon.

On June 16, NTRCA published its sixth public circular for the recruitment of more than 100,000 teachers. The application process began on June 22 and continued until midnight on July 10, with the deadline for submitting the application fee set at 11:59 pm on July 13.

According to NTRCA sources, more than 57,000 candidates applied under the sixth public circular. However, the circular states that a total of 108,822 teaching positions are available across various MPO-registered educational institutions in the country. Of these, 46,211 are in schools and colleges, 53,501 in madrasas, and 1,110 in technical and business management institutions, meaning nearly half of the positions may remain unfilled.
