DUCSU polls: Access to DU restricted from Monday to Wednesday

The Dhaka University (DU) administration has restricted commoners’ access to the campus from Monday evening to Wednesday morning centring the DUCSU elections.

The entrances of Dhaka University (Shahbagh, Palashi, Doyel Chattar, Shibbari Crossing, Fuller Road, Udayan School, and Nilkhet) will remain closed for commoners except DU students, teachers and employees from Monday 8:00pm to Wednesday 6:00am on the occasion of DUCSU and Hall Union polls, according to a press release on Thursday evening, September 4. 

Vehicles with Dhaka University's sticker, and used for emergency services can only enter the campus, the release said.

All the students, teachers, officials and employees of the university have been requested to carry their respective ID cards during the period.
