HSC exam results published; pass rate 58.83%
The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Thursday morning. This year, the overall pass rate across the country’s 11 education boards—including nine general, one technical, and one Madrasah board—stood at 58.83 percent. Last year, in 2024, the pass rate was 77.78 percent, marking a decrease of 18.95 percentage points this year.
The results were released simultaneously by all education boards at 10:00 a.m. Students can check their results through their respective educational institutions, the boards’ websites, or via SMS.
A total of 1,251,111 students registered for the examinations this year, including 618,015 male students and 633,096 female students. The exams were held across 2,797 centres nationwide. However, nearly 27,000 students were absent.
